The primary function of this role involves providing seasonal facility aide working alongside and in support of TNCA Winter Lights programming.

Pay is between $12 and $14 an hour based on experience.

Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit

The Arboretum hosts an annual holiday season light show and celebration of winter in the garden. Guests walk through displays created from thousands of light that will transform the Arboretum grounds and gardens into a nighttime wonderland and festival of family activities. Winter Lights offers a unique outdoor, evening experience for Arboretum guests and has created a new tradition for North Carolina and the Southeast.

SPA Minimum Qualifications

Requirements for this position include:

- Customer Service: This position will require strong customer service skills including a solid knowledge of event procedures, attentiveness to customer feedback and the ability to use positive language;

- Communication: Must have excellent and courteous written and verbal communication skills for interaction with both internal and external publics. Ability to screen and direct both clients and visitors to the appropriate source, inform the public about services, processes, procedures and guidelines. This position will need to follow both written and oral instructions.

- Work Management: Ability to coordinate tasks and establish priorities in response to workflow, be detail-oriented and have a high level of organization. Must be able to manage multiple projects with accuracy and exhibit stellar time management skills.

- Preference will be given to those with 2 or more years of customer service, retail or sales experience.

- General computer skills including but not limited to Gmail and Microsoft Office Suite are preferred.

Hiring Salary Range

$12 to $14 per hour depending upon experience
